She began her musical studies in her home town at the age of eight, studying piano, then received the degree in Musical Composition at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. In this same university, she began her studies in orchestral conducting and later on she continued studying in Buenos Aires. In 2008 she was appointed associated conductor of the Orquesta Sinfónica de la Universidad del Norte, Paraguay, with which she has undertaken many projects, being the most relevant the performances of the operas Aida, by G. Verdi, and “Gianni Schicchi, by G. Puccini, among many other symphonic works. She participated in the Course in Orchestral Conducting at the Acanthes Centre in Luxembourg, with Peter Eötvös and the Orchestre Philarmonique du Luxembourg; at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires with Charles Dutoit; at the Universidad Católica de Chile with Zsolt Nagy She is intensely devoted to contemporary music, premiering new works and also performing works belonging to the universal repertory. She conducted the premiere of the ballet “Fernando Speed, by Marcos Franciosi, which was commissioned and produced by the Centro Cultural España-Córdoba (Argentina). She also conducted the premiere of the opera “El Gran Teatro de Oklahoma, by Marcos Franciosi, commissioned by the Centro de Experimentación y Creación (TACEC) belonging to the Teatro Argentino de La Plata (Argentina). She composed the original music for, and conducted the premiere of, the ballet “Historia de mujeres intensas, with the participation of the Compañía Nacional de Danza Contemporánea at the Teatro Nacional Cervantes (Buenos Aires, Argentina). She was also the conductor of Nuevo Ensamble Colectivo. Nowadays she is the artistic director of Nonsense Ensamble Vocal de Solistas, with which she recorded her first commercial CD, performing works by G. Ligeti, L. Berio and the Argentinean composer Juan Carlos Tolosa. Quelle: music theatre now
